We
don't give client names or other information to anyone. Everything is
kept in the strictest confidence.
We
regularly scan for and remove any adware, spyware, and other
malicious codes that might have made their way onto our systems.
All
documents are backed up regularly and kept in a secure off-site
location for your added protection. We also shred any hard copies when
they are no longer needed. If requested, all soft copies will be
destroyed.
We
adhere to the same Code of Ethics set forth by the International
Virtual Assistants Association (IVAA): This being:
- Exercise
integrity, honesty, and diligence in carrying out our professional
duties and responsibilities.
- Safeguard
the interests of our colleagues and clients and do not knowingly act as
a party to any illegal or unethical activity.
- Do
not enter into any agreements or undertake any activity which may be in
conflict or give the appearance of conflict with the legitimate
interest of our clients, or that would prejudice our capacity to
perform our professional duties.
- Protect
any confidential information obtained in the performance of our duties
and shall not use such information for personal gain or in a manner
that would be detrimental to our clients or any other party.
- Continually
ensure the currency of knowledge, skills, and technical competencies
required to perform our professional duties.
- Refrain
from conduct or action which would detract from the profession of
virtual assistance as a whole.
- Are mindful
at all times of our responsibilities as professionals toward the
community at large.
